MARCH 2020

LOOKING BACK ...

Last month’s film night was a great success. The film ‘Abdul and Victoria’ was followed by group discussions on various issues raised by the story of Queen Victoria and her Indian servant. The levels of fear and ignorance around race and religion were astounding.

Thank you Elaine and Jim for taking us with you on a tour of South Africa, presenting your recent holiday to this amazing country.

LOOKING FORWARD ...

Patrick will be explaining some Lenten customs on the evening of Tuesday, 25th February.

Both March meetings will reinforce the Mothers’ Union theme of ‘Building Hope and Confidence’ and will be presented by two of our own branch members.

Elaine Aspden will be leading an afternoon of flower arranging on Tuesday 10th March. If you are coming along please bring a simple bouquet of supermarket flowers. You can bring your own vase if you like or make use of one from church.

On the evening of Tuesday 24th March Christine Harbour will talk to us about aspects of her life.

EVENTS AND MEETINGS FOR MARCH 2020:
